Vivo V20 Pro Review: is this 5G smartphone better
Vivo V20 Pro

In the Indian market, there is no such discussion about 5G network, as it is about 5G smartphone.  Statistics also show that the sale of 5G smartphones in the country is going on well.  Which make it clear that everyone now wants to buy Future Ready smartphones.  In such a situation, Chinese smartphone  Vivo has also launched its 5G smartphone Vivo V20 Pro in December.

smartphone comes at a competitive price with strong specifications.  Vivo V20 Pro has been launched in India at a price of Rs 29,990.  This price is of 8GB RAM + 128GB variants of the phone.  At this price, Vivo's direct competition is with OnePlus Nord, which has been launched in the Indian market with great capturing.  Let's take a look at the full review of this smartphone…

Vivo V20 Pro design

We have liked this smartphone in terms of design.  The smartphone has very thin bezels, which improves its using experience.  Also, the company has done its weight management in a great way.  The weight of the smartphone is just 170 grams and it slips a little while using.  We recommend that you use the case with it.  The fabricated nature of the telephone is acceptable

The display

The smartphone has a 6.44 inch 2400X1080 resolution FHD + display.  The device has an E1 Pro AMOLED display.  Capacitive Multi Touch Screen has been given in the smartphone.  The phone has glass protection on both the front and rear.  There is no problem about the display of the smartphone.  The brightness of the display is also very good and it has also been optimally optimized.  Because of which it can be easily used in Dhoom as well.  We did not see any glitches in media consumption.  This smartphone justifies its price in terms of display.

Operating System and Processor

Talking about the processor, Vivo V20 Pro also comes with the same processor, which is still being given in any other mid range 5G smartphone.  That is, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G processor provides the strength of this smartphone.

This processor is also seen in OnePlus Nord.  This device has FuntouchOS 11 based on Android 10, which the company has made better than before.  However, if you are using a stock Android or non-Chinese brand smartphone, then you will find its UI stuck for several days.  The company may soon provide it an update of Android 11.  This Vivo smartphone comes with better UI than before, but despite this we have got many apps pre-installed in it.

Memory and storage

The Vivo V20 Pro smartphone is currently launched in only one RAM and storage variant.  The company has given 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, while it has 128GB of U.S..1 storage.  You have to run the same storage work in the phone, because there is no option of expandable storage in it.  However, about 13 percent of the 128GB storage is already used in the phone.  That is, you get about 112 GB of free storage.

The camera

Vivo's smartphones are known for their selfie camera and this is also the part where this smartphone falls on OnePlus Nord.  The smartphone has a 44MP AF + 8MP dual front camera setup.  The handset comes with a front flash option.  With the help of the camera, you can record 4k - 3840 × 2160, FHD - 1920 × 1080, HD– 1280 × 720.  Also, it has many modes and features, which are a good choice for people who like selfies.  Features like Double Exposure, AR Stickers, 3D Sound Tracking are also provided in the smartphone.  At the same time, the smartphone has a triple rear camera setup, which we liked better than OnePlus Nord.

The phone has 64MP AF + 8MP AF (Wide-Angle / Macro / Bokeh) + 2MP (Mono) triple rear camera setup.  Like the front, you also get many modes and features in the rear camera.  Also, support for HDR has also been provided.  The company has given a double exposure feature with this smartphone, with the help of which a picture can be used using the front and rear camera together.  This camera of Vivo V20 Pro is good.  This smartphone also provides good output in artificial and low-light, although you cannot compare its quality with the flagship smartphone.

 Battery and others

To give power to the device, a battery of 4000mAh has been given, which may make you look less on paper, but it gives good results for the use of all day.  That is, you can use this smartphone all day in a single charge.  If you spend more time watching videos on the phone or you are fond of gaming, then you will have to charge it again.  However, there is no problem in this as the company is providing 33W FlashCharge along with this device, which makes it fast charging.  Type-C charging port is provided in the handset.  These display fingerprints have been given in the phone, which works with good speed.  It also comes with Face Unlock support, which you can use if you want.

Talking about connection reception in the phone, we do not see any problem.  The smartphone has a better network and no problems have been seen in the call to phone conversation as well.  This smartphone supports more than one badge of 5G, that is, you will not have to worry about 5G in future.

The smartphone also has features like Always On Display, but it does not get a 3.5mm headphone jack.  The audio quality of the device is also fine.  You will not hear a very loud voice in it.  The ringing volume of the phone is also good, you will hear the ring of the smartphone even to the other room.

 CONCLUSION

Now let's talk about whether you should consider Vivo V20 Pro or not.  If your budget is 30 thousand rupees then you must consider this smartphone.  On the other hand, if you want to get a smartphone from OnePlus Nord and Vivo V20 Pro, then this device of Vivo can be a better option.  This device comes with a more premium look and experience.  Also, its camera quality is better than OnePlus Nord.  Vivo has already improved its Funtouch UI, although it has many drawbacks, but the experience is still better than before.  Apart from this, more than one 5G band has been supported in the smartphone, which is more than OnePlus Nord.  OnePlus Nord has support of 5G of only one band.
